![]() This was a great place, quiet, and a good value. I told Katerina about it and she said she was going to look into rugs or wall tapestries to cut down on the echo. Only problem I had with the place was the marble hallways and stone walls made loud echos whenever people open and closed doors. Her husband's restaurant is the Steak House place around the corner and has awesome Greek food and some meat oriented plates at good prices. Katerina was the best host very friendly and even took the time to drive us to the port when we were leaving. Our room had a small balcony that we had a meal on and it offered nice views of Parikia and the water, I don t know if all of them had the view that our had. The room is a little small but it had a large bathroom, kitchenette, and queen size bed. The pool is small but nice and has a relaxed feel to it. There is an open air cinema right next to it so the street closes every night after dark. It was walking distance to everything (about 15 minutes from the port) so it was very convenient but not so close to everything so it was quiet. Lovely holiday at Katerina but if I travelled to Paros again I would definitely pay a little more and stay at Anna Platanou Hotel next door.Villa Katerina was located just outside the end of the waterfront street in Parikia. Paros is a beautiful island and on this second visit we hired a car and drive the length of Paros. Although a taxi boat leaves from the opposite end of town every half hour to a much nicer beach. The accommodation is a short stroll into the beautiful town and town beach. The owners were lovely and also owned a Gyros place a short way away so food could be ordered and delivered. The pool area was lovely and although small very welcoming. The furnishings were very basic and the beds hard. It is near the town's waterfront with a small beach for your first swim as. It offers rooms, studios & apartments for 2 to 5 persons and a beautiful garden with swimming pool where you can relax and enjoy your drink. We were shown to our two bedroomed apartment and I was a little disappointed because the room opened into the kitchen area which also acted as a bedroom with two single beds and then the room next to it had two beds in it. Villa Katerina is a small family run operation located in Parikia, the main town and the port of Paros Island, Greece. On arrival we searched the two separate buildings for reception and eventually found it behind a gate opposite the hotel in the pool area.
